Trump Media and Crypto.com have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at expanding the integration of cryptocurrency into social media platforms. As part of this collaboration, Trump Media will introduce the Cronos (CRO) token across its Truth Social and Truth+ platforms, allowing users to access enhanced rewards and benefits.

The initiative includes an updated rewards program where users can earn “gems” for engaging in various platform activities, which can then be converted into CRO tokens and other rewards using Crypto.com’s digital wallet infrastructure. In addition, users will soon have the option to pay for subscriptions and other services on Truth Social with their Crypto.com CRO balance. Special incentives, such as free or discounted Truth+ subscriptions, will also be available to users who open a Crypto.com account.

To strengthen the partnership, Trump Media will purchase approximately $105 million in CRO for its balance sheet, and Crypto.com will acquire $50 million worth of Trump Media’s common stock. These holdings are subject to a lockup period, with Trump Media’s CRO assets secured through Crypto.com Custody, enabling the company to stake its tokens and generate additional revenue.

This partnership highlights a shared commitment to leveraging blockchain technology for new user experiences and co-marketing opportunities between the Truth+ platform and Crypto.com’s wallet services. Through these strategic moves, both companies aim to innovate how users interact with media and digital assets in a secure and regulated environment.
